Jim, I finally had the chance to try out the HT310. All I can say is I have absolutley no regrets selling the Eden cabs. When I first plugged in my Lakland, I couldn't believe the balance, clarity and punch of the cab at every volume. The horn never got "hissy" even when turned most of the way up. It's definitely the sweetest sounding horn I've heard! I believe I have some more Eden cabs sold, so it looks like an HT112 is in my near future! Please get a dealer in Cleveland! Jim, the cab's every good thing I heard and more! Well done!

Jim, I've had your cabs (the 210 & 115) for a few months now. I have to tell ya like everybody else that they sound fantastic! (sold my Eden 210's to get yours) My band here in Detroit (formally the "M 80's" now the "Atomic 80's") regularly draws anywhere between 500 to 1800+ people depending on the venue, so I have to rely on your cabs to put out when necessary. I've never once had a problem hearing myself on any stage we've played on. Might move up to a pair of 310 cabs in the future, I can only imagine what that would sound like!!! We cover a lot of ground musically (we do all 80's music) and with any bass I play thru them (Sadowsky 5, Warwick Thumb Bass 4, Steinberger 4 and my synth bass rig) they sound great.
Thanks a lot,
Mike Fredericks

Thank you for building the perfect cab. I purchased the HT212 and it is well... perfect. I can't say enough. I feel its well worth the price tag to finally after 16 years be able to plug in and love the sound of my rig every time. Simply the best. Keep up the good work.

I can't begin to say enough good things about the Bergantino 1-12 cabinets. One cab alone can easily handle low to medium volume jobs and produce a superior, well-rounded tone with depth and more lows than you'd expect from a small cab. However, when you put two cabs together they're even more amazing! They provide more than enough bottom, and handle a "B" string with ease. They take up very little room and sound huge! The highs are very smooth, with no harshness or brittle edge - very audiophile in quality. The mids are focused, defined and even, with no "boxiness". The lows are not "thunderous", but are very present, refined, and well balanced with the rest of the cab. I'll admit I was skeptical about the capabilites of single 12s, but can honestly say that a pair of these cabs can easily compete with (and beat) most 2-10s (and some bigger cabs)on the market. When you compare their size and weight(39lbs.)to the tone and volume they're capable of - it's a no-brainer.
Jim Bergantino has set the standard for portable, professional quality bass cabinets.

Jim...I got two of your cabinets from BassNW about three months ago, the 3/10 and the 2/12 ...yikes these are great cabs! I've been playing thirty years and own or have owned every major cabinet out there. The low end is unsurpassed and the xovers are a beautiful thing:-)
Thank you for making such a finely crafted cabinet!

Hi Jim,
Just got my new cab covers and they're everything I had hoped for. Thick, strong and beautiful. Well worth the wait. Thanks a lot. I'm really diggin my 15 and 2-10's. You're lucky to have a guy like Bob Doolittle @ Crossroads Music (Hanover MA) carrying your gear. He's fantastic and really represents a product well. Keep up the good work and thanks again.

Hi Jim,
Finding it necessary to find a smaller cabinet for gigs, I ordered one of your HT 112 cabinets from my buds at Bass Central after reading the review on 1X12's in the lastest Bass Player magazine. I was drawn to yours because it was the smallest one of the bunch. I was a bit apprehensive at first having ordered the cabinet without trying but I decided to go for it anyway. My regular workhorse is an SWR redhead & I love it. I knew that going to a smaller cabinet was going to be a compromise & I was ready to deal with it so it would fit in my new 2 seat car! I guess I was wrong about that! My doubts were gone once I fired it up with my 1200W Walter Woods amp. No compromise....I couldn't believe what I was hearing from this tiny thing! The lows are incredibly deep and the woofer really moves air accurately without a hint of muddiness. This is very important to me, I have always found that larger speakers in general, especially 15's are deep, but way too sloppy sounding for my style and high mids tend to suffer (I can't stand cabs with big sound but no clarity). Yet some 10's are so tight, depending on the design, that they don't offer enough cone movement to really get the air moving (not to mention a bit of phase cancellation with multi drivers). No problem here. The pitch definition is the best of any cabinet I've heard and I could not detect any noticible dead or overly resonant frequencies in the cab as I played up & down the neck of the bass (hmmm, do I really still need to use a compressor?). The cab has it's own tonal "character" without exaggerating or coloring my sound. Because the sound is so clear & responsive across the full spectrum, I am finding myself using an even lighter touch to get a full tone. These things, in my mind eliminate the need to keep turning the volume up to hear what notes you're playing in a band situation (we all know how that can get out of hand!). The highs are clear, focused, snappy & in your face without being brittle or piercing. (Some "hi-fi" cabs have overly transparent highs which give them a thin sound from a distance). I am also impressed by the meticulous minimal use of space. It is only just as big as it needs to be to fit the two speakers and get the fullest sound possible. The 1X12 is so compact, I can make one trip from my car to the gig, bass & all (no more parking out front with the 4-way hazards). Then when it's showtime I've still got tone & power to spare. Thanks for proving that my sound not only will fit into the front seat of a sports car, but can also improve at the same time.
Sincerely,
Cedric Noel

Jim, Beautiful cabs.
I was dead set on a 2x10 Eden cabinet, but then a salesguy said "Check this out.." I plugged into the 2-12 and I have NEVER heard such a HUGE, CLEAN sound. The best part was my friend could hear me play 50 feet away in a noisy guitar store just as well as I did playing in front of it. I'm Sold.
Thanks,

Hi Jim,
After I heard your 1x12 at Bass Day this year, I knew it was what I was looking for. I play in a Christian theatre troupe that goes to a different church each week. The places we play look beautiful, but large stone rooms reak havoc on my sound. Now that I have your cab, I can get the nice clear sound I want in any room !! What a great sound !! The folks in the band are happy to hear me playing with a full tone - not too crisp, not to boomy. I am well pleased with your fine work.
The keyboard player needed a monitor speaker one night (when I wasn't playing) and used the cab - he loved it too !! Great clear full sound for his instrument !! This cab does everything but make coffee !!
The padded cover makes it easy to carry and keeps it safe in my trunk. Kudos all around for a job well done !!

Jim, thanks to Alex and "Bear" at 'Century Music' here in San Antonio, TX., I am now the owner of the best bass cabinet I've ever heard. My new HT310 has all the lows and more than enough highs.{the casters come in handy rolling thru parking lots}. The chrome grille really stands out on a dark stage. I've owned Ampeg , Acoustic , Sunn , Eden and Hartke cabinets for the last 23 years and none of them come close to your product. Also, none of the other manufacturers ever called to say "thanks" for buying their cabinet. Thanks again for building the best!

Hey!
My name's Jae and I'm writing from NYC. I've been on the hunt for a small cab for my small club needs, and your HT112 fit the bill to a T. It's, IMHO, the perfect combination of size & tone. I love how it's soooo light and easier to carry than all the other 1x12's. Getting in and out of taxicabs, up and down the many flights of stairs of my apartment building and subways, and setting up my rig, has never been easier. Also, I love how the slick neon green logo and silver grill look killer with my EA iAMP350. Very tasteful in an otherwise boring black-on-black cab world. And the fact that the tone is to die for is just icing on the cake! Your cabs are just unbelieveably vibey that's round, full, and deep all glazed with a hifi sheen I just can' seem to get enough of. After the Bergs, everything else just seems stiff and burpy with no character to speak of. Its a travesty, not to mention, a low down dirty shame your 1x12 didnt get the top tone honors in that BP review. Also, thanks for the super quick drop ship that you set up with my dealer. And a HUGE thanks for offering to let me use a loaner that you originally sent to Euphoria Studios! Speaking of which, I had rehearsals there not too long ago and have fallen head over heels with your 3x10s they use there. I was sooo amazed at the service you were willing to do for me, its made me a bonafide Bergantino user. Hopefully in a few years, when I'm rich and famous, I can become a Bergantino endorser, too! hehe...
Keep up the incredible work and can't wait to get that Bergie cover for my beloved 1x12!

I have had the opportunity to use a few of Jim's cabinets and they all performed exceptionally well. Jim Bergantino is that kind of person that can do anything he puts his mind to and he has put his mind into building the 2004 BEST audio systems on the market.

Hi Jim: Although I love my HT310, I couldn't resist picking up (2) HT112 cabs! Comparing them to the SWR Bass Monitors - there is no comparison. The clarity and punch are amazing for a cab of this size! I will use these for the "country club" gigs we do quite often. I can put one behind me and one in front of me angled up - or simply stack them. I have a 2 channel amp and can't wait to try both 112's with the 310! Hope I don't hurt anyone! As I did with the HT310 cab. I bought the HT112's without even hearing them. I went (largely) off of comments on talkbass.com and the recommendations of several music stores.
Thanks Jim!
P S - If my old Eden cover didn't fit the HT310 so well, I'd get your cover. It is a shame to walk in to a gig with everyone thinking it's an Eden cab under the cover!

I bought the HT112 from Music Stand in Detroit. I emailed Mr. Bergantino and he told me that Music Stand had one in stock, he even emailed Music Stand that I was coming to try it out. I was looking for a portable cab but didn't want to sacrifice sound quality. The HT112 is just awesome!!! Very smooth overall frequency response. Lows are very PHAT, fast, focused and clear, never muddy, highs are very smooth, never harsh. Low mids and high mids are very rich, never honky. The crossover unit is probably the best in the industry. I noticed that all the jacks are sealed with silicone so these holes will not effect the sound of the cab. I have a Sadowsky 4 string, and run it through an Eden WT400, this combination can create pretty much any sound you can think of. This cab has no coloration, especially in the mids like some other brands. I would recommend this cab to anyone. Yeah, it's a little pricy for it's size, but it's worth every dollar. It will blow away any 2x10, even 4x10's. There are some other high end stuff, but Bergantino is definately the best sounding and the highest quality cab you will ever find in the market.

Jim & Co,
I'm not sure how you guys do it, but this HT112 I just received from Bass Central sounds a lot bigger than it looks. It also makes my Lakland 5 string kick ass. The articulation and warmth are amazing and it never sounds boomy, plus it won't kill my back! I will spread the word to my other NYC bass playing friends.
Thanks for the SOUND,

Folks,
I just sold my Eden 4X10 XLT and Eden 1X15 XLT and got into the Bergy HT210 and HT310. Let me say that my new rig is criminal! These cabs are very articulate and transparent. After the first set, my sound guy came up to me and simply said, "Man, those new cabs sound good!" Nuff said!

I traded my 2 Aguilar 112's for the Bergantino 3-10 and the 3-10 rocks!
This cab projects and cuts thru better than anything I've ever owned.
The Aguilar was good but the Bergantino is a higher level of excellent.

I sold my Bag End 4x10 and EAVL-208 and respectively replaced them with a Bergie 2x10 and Bergie 1x12 both with horn. The cabs are amazing. Through my Walter Woods amp, I'm very audible and clear, playing upright at my very LOUD swing gig with just the 1x12. The EA was just too transparent; no punch. The 1x12 is even loud enough to play with a big band. My 2x10 is also so loud, that it easily replaced my 4x10!!! These cabs sound great with both electric and upright bass.
Now that I'm starting to play much larger venues again, I feel that I'll be needing the Bergie 3x10!! Blood bank here I come....:-)

Well, I wanted to get a couple of gigs in before I commented on the Bergantino 322 cabinet. This cabinet peformed flawlessly and sounded twice it's size. In a nutshell, it's the very best cabinet I've ever heard / played / owned. Many thanks to Jim Bergantino for delivering the GOODS. Now I look forward to every gig no matter where it is because I know at least the bass will be kickin! Extremely rewarding. Bergantino cabs are IT!!

After having a lovely chat with Jim Bergantino on the phone, I ordered an HT112 from the folks at Rock City Guitars in the Boston area. Lo and behold, it showed up the next day out in the sticks where I live in Vermont. Now that's service - thanks, guys.
I used the HT112 at an outdoor gig a few days after I got it. I stacked it on top of another 112 by a well-known high end manufacturer. I turned the tweeter off on the other cab, and used the Bergantino crossover and tweeter (which I like just as much as everybody else who has commented here). The sound was very nice, clear and balanced, and plenty loud.
The next day, I took my little mixed-manufacturer stack back indoors to practice with, and it was less successful indoors - huge sound, but kind of unfocused and phasy and boomy. What else could I do but order an EX112 to sit under the HT112? So I called up Justin at Rock City and, once again, the cab showed up the next day.
A nice, tight sounding stack! Gonna let them break in for a while before I come to any further conclusions, but I'm really happy with them. I like the small size, light weight, Speakon connectors, and heavy-duty grills, too.

I'm impressed. I have the HT112 and HT210 and they're excellent by themselves and together. Clean and they really come to life with big wattage. I appreciate the fact that they don't have frequency "humps" in them like most of the other popular bass cabs. Thanks for doing it right!

Man, Jim Bergantino, you are the coolest.
My posting here is just to express my great thanks for your prompt help when I really needed it, and well, I won't go into detail. Just wanted people to know what a good person you are to deal with and what wonderful sounding bass cabs you produce. I'm buying 2 more next week. Everybody that hears them here in Atlanta and on tour, get pumped up about them. I play 4, 5, and 6 string bass and they all sound beautiful and tight. I have been playing for 35 years; rock, blues, country, funk, jazz. They are the best I have ever heard, owned or played through. . . . . . Thank you Jim.

Hi Jim....me again! The HT112 is awesome!........Great for my smaller gigs, and lately I've been throwing it on top of your 2/12 and the combo is great together! The more focused 1/12 along with the massive lowend output of the 2/12 make a great pair! Once again thanks for the help & the great product line!

After having the opportunity to meet Jim and audition his products at the Summer NAMM Show in Nashville, I was sold on both Jim and his products. I just had to have an HT322. I've used SWR (Triads) exclusively for over 10 years and the 322 just slays them. Similiar in dimensions but, more efficient, much more clarity, and lots more db per enclosure. It now only takes one cabinet for the back-line gigs I play. Thanks, Jim, for excellence in all areas.

I use a 310 on my hits around New England. Funk, gospel, fusion, reggae, hiphop, jazz, you name it. All sounds in-$&^$&^$&^-credible coming out of a Bergantino. The s#%t! There will be other innovations no doubt, but I'll stick with my 310 cuz I don't see how anyone could beat the sound! And that's the real!

I'm a long time working musician in South Florida and have been through plenty of gear such as: (in order)Hartke, SWR Goliath II, Eden 410 XLT and most recently the discontinued EA 2x10 - 2x5.5 - horn cab. This past week I took delivery of the Berg. 310 and played an outdoor festival Friday night. In a word: unbelievable. Big round bottom (OUTDOOR CONCRETE STAGE!!!), very tight and controlled, nice growl and majorly snappy on the top. My EA cab always gave something way on the bottom, but was great on top (insert inuendo here) but the Berg does everything well. The loudness issue I've read about is false. I used a MoBass and an Eden WT500 out there and they had NO prob keeping up. Love it!!! Also, I had an input question before purchase and recieved an email from the builder within an hour after asking. I'm VERY impressed. I play very high end basses and they've never sounded so good!

I purchased a Bergantino HT322 from Bass Northwest in Seattle strictly on advice from my good friend. I have not heard a better single cabinet. I have been playing on and off for 30 years and am somewhat of an audiophile. I cashed in my Edens and recently ordered another cabinet. This time a 210 to sit atop the 322. I am running an Alembic preamp and a Stewart World 2.1. Twelve hundred watts never sounded sooooo good. Thanks Jim! I am a customer for life.

I've been using the HT212 for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier. It makes my other cabs sound like crap. I usually would turn the tweeter off on the others because of the tinny sound they give. Not anymore. They are so well blended with the speakers and sounds so good. Can't wait to get another one and run in stereo

I just purchased an HT-322 and used it for the first time this past weekend. WOW!!!, this has to be the best cabinet I've ever heard. It has great defintion across the entire frequency range and filled the room with truly high fidelity bass. Even my band mates noticed the difference. If you're thinking about purchasing one of these, don't hesitate. You won't be dissapointed.
