Although I can't say that I am the first Bergantino owner in Texas, I can say that I am very happy with my new Bergies. I recently purchased an HT210 and an HT115. This combination produces clear, articulate mids/highs and authoritative lows - at very high fidelity. It's very nice to finally be able to both hear and feel what you are playing without having to resort to ear-bleed volumes. And, I have the added benefit of cabinets that weigh less than 65 lbs each. Jim, my ears and back both thank you. Keep up the great work!

Thank you Bergantino. My sound is richer, and more articulate. Your products are the best out there by far.

I don't know if I can say anything that hasn't already been said about the HT322. What a cabinet! Just amazing full range sound that I have never heard before. A fellow bassist commented on how smooth the sound was across the entire spectrum. And the low end rattles the foundations.

After really sitting down and playing/listening to your 2-10 cabinet, I had an interesting discovery. Having put aside my "sonic expectations" (because my ear had been used to hearing the typical boom-hiss 4-10 thing for so long) I was able to actually hear my bass and its natural character. All these years of playing through
speakers that over emphasized certain frequencies, and trying to EQ around those inherent problems, I was led on a never ending path of new pre-amps, different basses, different bells and whistles, in the pursuit of trying to return to square one. (What I didn't know was that I was trying to run a race with one foot in a cement bucket). Nice coherent sound, seemless transition between woofer and tweeter, Done deal.

Just bought one HT322.... There are no words to describe it!!! Not only does it accurately reproduce my two Musicman 5's, but my Chapman Stick/Midi Stick sound out of this world.... Driving the cab with a Stewart World 1.6 and an Ashdown RPM1!! Now.... to buy one more. Thanks.

Just received my HT322, WOW , this thing is great. Like a lot of people I've gone through a lot of gear and money trying to find a combination that to me sounds great. Well I've finally done it. This cab is by far the best sounding I've heard, I bought without hearing it , I trusted good reviews and good words, everything everyone said was true and for that I'm very happy. My rig is now a Demeter pre amp , QSC 2402 power amp and the HT322. I play an MTD 5 and a Sadowsky 5 , among others and everything sounds amazing. Thanks Jim for building such a great all around cab, you have a coustomer for life.

Jim, let me begin by saying that you have created the finest cabinets I have ever had the pleasure of playing through. I have a 210, 115 and 322 and nothing compares to the sound quality, construction and portability. I have played through and owned almost every reputable cabinet known to man and let me say to all other manufacturers, "The Bar Has Been Raised". You have done a great service to the bass community and I look forward to any and all future products. You have a customer for life.

Well Jim, I thought my 3x10 was my best cabinet. Now I have the 322. And it rocks and is what I wanted, a combination of your 3x10 and 2x12. But also my 1x12's are great cabinets. As we have discussed, players need to buy what their ears like and not what this or the other guy is playing. If anyone wants to write me with questions, feel free - I have played them all and now only have these cabinets.

Hi! My name is Tony Casaceli and I recently purchased an HT322 speaker cabinet. To my knowledge, the 322 is the best sounding speaker cabinet I've ever heard. The sound is crystal clear, the speakers can handle mid, highs to lows without strain or muddiness to tone. I use a Pedulla "Thunderbass" which I play through this cabinet as well as a Charvel/Jackson B4 bass. I highly recommend this cabinet to anyone searching for the best in tonal quality.

Okay, I just got my 6'10 bergy cab, most likely the first to own and use one. Jim did an unbelievable job on it, special love was sent my way on this one. Anyways, if you don't own one ask yourself this question, WHY? Jaw dropping is how I describe it. It will rip your head off. I play rock music and this thing is rock. I use an Ashdown 900evo to power it which I feel is the only choice, but Jim has some things in the works that I wouldn't be surprised that will end up rivaling the Ashdown, but he will be hard pressed cus they make an incredible product. But back to Jim. This cab will blow away any 8'10 out there no questions asked. You can hear every note distinctively. The highs, cut through like a knife through butter, the lows are so impressive that I think I orgasmed the first time. And there's all the mid you'll ever need. By far the best purchase of my life. I have heard everything, but nothing compares to the quality and craftmanship of a Bergantino speaker system. Do yourself a favor and get a 6 10". It changed my life and I know it will yours.

I received my HT322 this week from Bass Emporium in Austin, TX and have to give my opinion of your work. I have owned and gigged extensively with Hartke, Eden and SWR, all 4x10's and the best of each label. I can say that this cabinet is the best all around that I have ever heard. I A/B'd it with a Demeter pre and Stewart power against the Aguilar GS410 and Epifani T-410 (both great cabinets) and it wasn't even close. The best thing I can say is that it has all the best traits of bottom, mid and top without any harshness, mud or boom. I can play with fingers, thumb and pick without changing EQ and get the sound that I am supposed to get with the different techniques.
I want another one! Oh yes, it will be mine.

I just bought the compact 12 w/tweeter. HUGE Sound, The highes are CRISP and CLEAR, Brilliant Tone and Lows! This is the best cabinet I have ever played on. I play at church and this tiny cabinet holds its own! I don't even use my 18 anymore! It's so TINY! I can travel with it on my front seat. I know you bassists can appreciate that! Overall, The Sound is AWESOME! Can't wait to buy another one! Rolls Royce of Speakers!

You know, sometimes the hype IS true. I own a 3- 10' cabinet and it really is that much better than anything else I've used. It sounds deep and clean. The tweeter is PERFECT. I was not sure about it at first, but using it on gigs has made me a believer. The tone is balanced and clear without adding any color to what's going in. I like it so much. I'm looking at one of the smaller cabinets to use for smaller gigs.

OK folks, I'm a complete tone freak and have a serious case of G.A.S. (gear acquisition syndrome), so needless to say I've owned (or tried) just about every piece of bass gear out there in my 15+ years of professional playing. Sound-wise, I'm not into your typical / standard bass tone, as I like my bass to growl slightly and to be rich and thick with harmonics (I play fingerstyle rock). I currently use a Music Man Sterling, and a Mesa M-Pulse 600 - and they are my absolute favorite bass and amp currently on the market. So, you would probably expect me to use a Mesa cabinet, such as their newly designed 6x10 or Powerhouse 1000. Well, I test drove those cabs and they are OK, but I was definitely not blown away by them. So, one day I talked to Jeff at M.A.E. (in Ft. Lauderdale, FL) and he tells me that I need to check out a Bergantino cab if I want to be blown away. Well, I checked out the 322 and I was thoroughly impressed with it, but it just wasn't my sound. I then learned that the NV610 had just been released and without hesitation I ordered one sight unseen after talking with Jim. Well, I've had it for over a week now and I can honestly say "WHEN YOU CRANK THIS BABY UP YOU BETTER HOLD ON TIGHT TO SOMETHING, CAUSE THIS THING WILL SEND YOU FLYING," and the fact that the tone is the most wonderful, full, sweet sound that I've ever heard sure doesn't hurt either. I would have gladly paid much more for this cabinet (the current price is a steal) and it truly is the HOLY GRAIL of bass tone for me! Thank you Jim!!!

Hi Jim, I finally got my HT-210 and HT-115 stack. Thank you for your suggestions on putting together this great combination! I am using a Kern pre-amp I just received last week along with the QSC PLX series power amp you recommended. I tried running the cabinets in stereo at 550 watts per channel but it wasn't until I ran them in bridged mode that they really came alive and found their 'voice'! They sound so good with more power. I used the rig out of the house for the first time today at a church rally day our band played at. The lead guitar player kept telling me how smooth and how much better it sounded than my previous gear. Thanks for a nice compliment in a 210 and 115 that are actually the same size so they stack nicely. Also, the padded covers are excellent protection for them. Again, thank you for all of your help, personal attention and your super products!!

I recently purchased an HT322. I had a few questions prior to making the purchase. I traded a few emails with Jim and must say he was excellent from a customer service standpoint. He explained his answers to my questions in a friendly, professional manner and was very fast in responding to my emails. This initially started me off on a good foot with Jim. I don't care how good a product is, if the customer service is not there when it comes time you need it, it's worthless! Jim however, subscribes to a tantamount professionalism akin to Roger Sadowsky. No matter who you are, big name or not, you are treated with a very high level of courtesy and respect. I conclude that both of these guys are sincere in making the best products available for all players. This commitment is evident in Jim's cabinet designs. As a 5-string player, I always wanted a cabinet that would accurately represent the entire frequency spectrum of my bass without distorting the lower frequencies!
This cabinet delivers it and more. Echoing the sentiments of many others who rave on about the crystalline sound of Jim's cabinets, I can only add that playing through my new HT322, I can finally hear what my Sadowsky has truly been saying to me all these years. Excellent product Jim, and best of luck for a successful future!

I have been test playing a stock Fender Jazz through the Bergantino 210 with an EBS 350 head. I don't think I have ever heard a rig that sounded better - ever. It fully reproduces my sound - what else could I want.
I am especially pleased how well double stops, chords and harmonics come through - clearer than ever before. I didn't know what I was missing until I hooked up with the 210.

Jim, I just wanted to let you know that the whole band for "Bat Boy" the musical in Boston is thankfull that I am now playing through your HT112 cab for the shows. It fills out my sound and really helped the band become tighter. It roars all the way down to my low B string. This cab is pure magic! A big thanks from me as well.

Jim;
Finally got around to posting a comment after we talked a couple of weeks ago. Well, you remember I was a bit apprehensive trading in my EA-VL110's for an HT112 and EX112 and talked to you a bit about it. All I have to say is: I made the right choice :) So far, I've had the chance to use these cabs on a few different gigs and they've performed flawlessly. If I had to describe the sound difference between these and my last cabs it would be "round". My bass just seems to have so much more presence and low end, while still retaining a very nice, clear sound with these cabs. To tell you the truth, I have really only had to use the HT112 so far because it's been powerful enough to handle the situations I've been using it for. I'll let you know when I do that arena tour with Metallica and we'll see how they hold up then :) Thanks for responding so quickly and answering the questions I had on the phone. I'll definitely be using these for a looooong time...

FINALLY! A bass cabinet (maybe even the whole NV series?) without tweeters! It's good to learn someone can think beyond the market's current "me too" philosophy. Bravo!
Posted on June 23, 2003
Jim,
What can I say? I just played my first gig with the HT322. And you were right! It's more than enough for almost all stadium playing (Modesto A's anyways). I really can hardly believe my ears. My bandmates were in awe, along with me.
Combined with my new EBS TD650, your HT322 is by far, BY FAR, the best sounding, fastest action, punchy, thunderously deep-toned, and very loud cabinet I have ever heard. There is no irritating hiss coming from the tweeter, and I truly enjoy the tweeter attenuator being flat at the one extreme setting and then one can only decrease it from there. That's a very nice choice of building it this way.
I really appreciated the personal touch when you responded to one of my e-mails with a telephone call. Your advice has proven to be the best I received, along with the Dealer recommendations of Evan, Chad, and Aaron at Bass Northwest of Seattle, WA. I will never need another cabinet other than my one HT322. It's awesome! I may WANT another one, but I will never NEED another cabinet. If I end up succumbing to my WANT and decide to buy a second new cabinet, I will definitely choose another Bergantino. There really is no other choice for me now. I am going to go through a lot of ear plugs because of you, Jim!
Thanks again,
Marsh

Another profoundly elated Bergantino HT322 owner here. I am finally posting a comment after using my Bergantino HT322 in rehearsals and gigs for a couple months. Thanks again for the great service from John Dimaggio at Bass Alone in San Diego, Ca. The combination of my Ashdown ABM500 EVO RC (rack mount chrome) and my Bergantino HT322 make tones that are amazing! They are deep, ballsy, crystal clear, punchy, authoritative, and modern or old school and posses sweet harmonic character that cuts through the mix. I never fail to get compliments from my tone now. It has become common to see raised eyebrows and an acknowledging grin from band mates and audience members. When they approach me after the set, I know what they're going to say without fail. "Man, what is that? What a GREAT tone!" Jim gave me the most superb service with quick, helpful and detailed replies to my emails before and after my purchase. Thanks again to Jim B. for simply superb, first class service. You have a Bergantino evangelist anytime you want! Now I want a modular HT112 and EX112. Or an HT115 and HT210 combination. Just because I can! You make the BEST bass cabinets on the planet!

I am the proud owner of several Bergantino cabinets. Currently I own a HT-322, HT-212, HT-112, and EX-112. These cabs always sound great. Mix and match, different venues you name it. Simply the best by far. I am complimented on my sound almost every time I play. Done? Not yet. There are still more Bergs to buy! Jim Bergantino provides the best customer service of anyone in this galaxy, and is as "down to earth", as they come. Jim, can't thank you enough for the great gear and service.

I have had my Bergantino HT322 for about two months now and played several gigs. The HT322 has a rich and warm, yet fast, solid, punchy, and articulate deep bass up through mid-bass response & tone which seemlessly integrates with a very clear & smooth midrange all the way up through the silky sweet treble (the high frequency driver on this cabinet is incredible). When driven really hard in my system, the sound starts taking on a tubey-overdriven, slightly compressed sound that somehow manages to retain the articulation of each note and yet has a meaty edge to it (still, somehow smooth), especially from the mid-bass down. And I mean all the way down; this thing can really project a low 'B' with "testicular fortitude".
Thank you Jim for making such a great speaker system.

I bought an HT322 in March (from New York) to use in the UK. Together with the EBS650 head and my Fender Jazz it has an enormous sound, and a huge range of dynamics. Best of all, it shakes the floor when the neighbours get uppity!
Great cabinet - definitely the best combination I have played with, or even heard.

I bought my first Bergantino cabinet in October 2002. I now own the following: HT210, HT115, HT310, and NV610. I play a variety of basses ranging from passive Fenders to active high-end "boutiques" and they all sound great through Bergantino cabinets. That especially includes the low B strings. The HT210 keeps up just fine at loud rehearsals with a drummer. I used an HT310/HT115 stack at a completely outdoor gig with no PA support, and got all the volume I needed, including amazing low end throb. For most gigs I use the HT310 alone, or an HT210/HT115 stack. I use the NV610 when I want that SVT magic. Everyone who owns an HT322 says it's your best cabinet yet, and I suspect I'll add one of those to my collection soon. Last but not least: as most of us here know, Jim Bergantino understands the value of customer service and delivers the best. Thanks, Jim!

Hi Jim,
Just wanted to thank you for the phone call to help me with my choice of cabs (EX 112) and your expert advice on EQ settings. (flat is beautiful) Ran the Eden WT 400 with flat EQ and turned the enhance off. Ran the EQ on my bass flat. The only adjustments I made was pick up selection. I am use to getting comments on how great my US Masters bass sounds. Now folks are really taking notice. I played this cab for the first time at church last week and after the service had several people comment on how awesome the bass sounded that night. The sound man who in the past has told me that the bass was too loud coming off the stage told me that he was glad I had it cranked up because it sounded so good! The drummer told me it was the best he'd ever heard. Even had a guitar player who was at the service come up to me to tell me how great my bass sounded. Our worship pastor was a full time professional recording engineer before he started at the church and he was loving it. (!He leads from the keyboard)Don't remember his exact words but it was something like. "That's what bass is suppose to sound like!!" Guys like him are very fussy. He once told me that the only thing he likes cheese on was his burgers!! I had been playing through a 4x10 cab. Your cab blows it out of the water. I play a 5 string and was truly amazed at how sweet the low B string sounds through it. The EX 112 is way more than I ever expected and worth every dime that I paid for it. We are going to do some recording in a few weeks and I am looking forward to micing this cab as well as using a DI. I hope to get another cab in the near future. Either the HT112 or may even get another EX112. It's scary to think what a pair of these would do. Ok guys you've played the rest; now it's time to play the best!! Ebay needs your old cabs! Before I forget, Bass Northwest is awesome!! Thanks Steve and Evan for your great service, quick email response and fast shipping! The Bible says to make a joyful noise to the Lord!! Thanks again Jim. May the Lord continue to prosper your business. Hope to be talking to you soon.

Yes, I'm the proud owner of an NV610. I'm 37 and I've been playing bass for 22 years. I'm the bass player for "Psycho Jive", a rock-n-roll band in Atlanta. Let me tell you. This cabinet rocks the house!!! The tone of this cab is awesome!!! The punch of this cab is awesome!!! The presence of this cab is awesome!!! Its' mix of modern punch and old-school tone make this the ultimate rock-n-roll bass enclosure. Since I got the NV610 two months ago, my band has commented on the excellent tone and presence of my bass playing. I am a different player now because of it. This cab never sounds bad, and after dousing it with beer yesterday, oops, I think it even sounds a little better now. I've dubbed it my Beergantino610. I play an '83 Fender Precision through a MesaBoogie MPulse-600 into the NV610. The NV610 maintains blossoming tone throughout the entire volume spectrum. My bass sound sits perfectly in the mix and every nuance and fist-pound is accurately and sweetly reflected at all dynamic levels. Wow!! I've never been happier with my bass setup, than I am now. It feels really strange having the perfect setup. Equipment shouldn't make that much of a difference, but it does. Oh, it does! The only other thing I want is another NV610. (I got my Beergie cab and my Boogie head from George & Bill, at Atlanta Discount Music. I put them through hell in my recent gear-acquisition-syndrome and they were always patient while helping me find what I was searching for. They are certainly the preferred music dealer in Atlanta. Thanks George & Bill.) And finally, thanks Jim B., for making me this awesome 610 cabinet, and I hope you don't mind the barley/hops upgrade.

It's been over 2 years since I bought my first Bergantino, a 310. Upon first taking it out, I was astonished at the difference. It was like a veil had been lifted. Suddenly my bass sounded the way I thought it SHOULD sound. Now, I'm a dyed in the wool HT112 man. Electric bass, upright bass, jazz, funk, blues, rock...whatever..this box handles it all. Low B? Hell yes! It's fun to watch musician's faces when I hit the B string, they look around for my stack, and all that they see is a tiny little green monster, spitting out this huge sound. For the rare gig where I have to compete with loud guitar, I use 2 of them - game over. Looking back at the past 2 years, I realize that I've become completely spoiled. I am only happy when I'm playing out of my Bergie, anything else is a dissapointment.

So I am now the proud owner of another 6 10" cab and let me tell you two are better than one. One is great and does everything I could have possibly asked for in a bass cab, but who could have known the power of two. Two 6 10"s together is absolutely ferocious. It is scary to be honest. It shakes your balls like a two dollar whore. I'm telling you if you want to stand out as a player you get one, but if you want everyone to say what the f%*$, then you get two. It's the second time now that this product has changed my life. It's everything and so much more. If you play rock music you would be an absolute fool to get anything but one of these cabs. I have played pretty much every cab on the market and none can hold a candle to one of Bergantino's cabs. He is an all around business man which is a rarity in the entertainment industry. Where he lacks is that not everyone owns his products yet, but they will soon enough. Other than that I wouldn't hesitate doing business with him for the rest of my life. I just wish every other music craftsman was as customer and product committed as Jim Bergantino. I use an Ashdown EVO 900 head (1800 watts peak) to power my rig, which I feel is the only way to go so far. However, Jim has eluded to me that he might be creating a product that will rival the ashdown and I wouldn't doubt that he would be the one to pull it off. 10+ all around for this product. I can't think of one thing that I would incorporate or change. It is truly perfect in everyway, but that's what you get when you go with the best and that is definitely Bergantino Audio Systems.

Ever wish you could get that great, direct-to-the board tone live?
I am a utility player -- in the course of an average year I will gig with bass (electric and acoustic, fretted and fretless), pedal steel, electric guitar (lots of different ones), acoustic guitar (including 12-string and classical), keyboard, banjo. I play just about every style from time to time, I'm playing pedal steel(!) in a fusion band right now. I've been a full-time pro for over 30 years and have been fighting with tone for most of it. I've tried everything -- different amps for different instruments, other high-end cabinets (bag end, EAW, aguilar) PA equipment, even took a couple of urei studio monitors on the road for a while. (big mistake).
I bought a couple of HT-112's about three months ago and, it was like, Eureka! That's tone. They are warm, accurate, and crisp, and LOUD without being harsh with EVERY instrument I use live and even a couple I don't (any Bouzouki guys out there? Oud? Lute? I use those sometimes too).
Depending on the instrument I play through a Sansamp PSA-1, a Tubefex, and an Alembic F-2B with a Stewart 1.2 power amp. On a typical week I might play anywhere from a bar gig to a 40-foot stage and this rig is plenty for any of it -- and it all fits in the trunk of my car.
I'm not a big techie and have no idea why these things are so hi-fi but whatever it is, IT WORKS. Worth every nickel.
I am in awe, Jim. Thanks.

I've been playing bass for 5 years after a friend showed me how beautiful and important bass can be. He played a 6 string Ken Smith and SWR so I played that combo until I was introduced to Eden a year later. Then I played Smith and Eden and have been playing that for the past 4 years. When I was told to try Bergantino cabs I was snobby and said "There can be nothing greater than Eden cabs. You are wrong". My friends know I am very, very picky about my tone and I can take months to make equipment purchases. Now I am saying to everyone that was wrong and I am sorry to my friends who tried to make me see the light 2 years ago. This past weekend I went to Bass Emporium in Austin, Tx and played an HT322 thru an Eden Time Traveler 330. OOHH MY GOD!!!
With my EQ flat on my Smith AND a flat EQ on the head I heard the most beautiful sound coming from that HT322 cabinet that I've ever heard in 12 years of playing music and trying out all the gear I could plug into. The sound had nothing to do with my playing either (I'm not THAT good).
After 5 minutes of playing that cab I decided I was going to sell my current Eden Metro/212 cabs for 2 HT322's. I can't believe I waited this long to hear something so wonderful. The bass was tight AND warm, the mids just spoke out loud, and the treble was just so clear and full sounding. It is just like the tone that I hear in my head.
Now I won't be able to sleep until I get those new cabinets, but at least I know that I can own equipmemt that sounds like the tone I hear in my head.
Bless you Mr. Bergantino, bless you.

Hello, I wanted to drop a note here to give my impressions on my brand new Bergantino HT322. It arrived yesterday right in time for my rehearsal last night, plugged it into the WT800 and I'm completely speachless. I thought that there was nothing that could equal the sound of my Eden 410xlt....equal?...how bout, in a completly different ballpark!...This speaker cabinet is the very best on the market today!.....I heard the real sound of my Us Masters 5-string bass for the very first time last night...compeletly uncolored and beatufiully articulate with crisp highs and earthshaking lows!....now all I have to do is figure out how to afford the 2-10....so I can have the best sounding rig on this planet!!!..Thanks Jim

Hi Jim. The Demeter HPB-1/Crown K-1 arrived about a week ago, and I must say you were right. The HT-322 definitely sings with more power. I've never sounded better. I run it pretty much flat, with the tweeter attenuator in the open position. Your cabinet is amazing. I haven't been able to get it to bottom out yet. I can't wait for rehearsal.
p.s. Go Sox!

I love my NV610. This cab is amazing. If you are looking for the ultimate
vintage tone, this is the cab.

Thanks Jim; first for getting back to me so fast when I called with power amp questions and second for making the best bass cabinet on the planet. I had my HT322 for about 3 weeks and I work about 5 nights a week in every possible playing situation. Your cabinet goes from Beauty to Beast effortlessly. I've tried a lot of cabinets but this is the holy grail.
Thanx. Dave Jones

Jim, thanks for answering all of my questions! I purchased my HT-112 from James at Electric City Music in Wis. earlier this year. I'm not a speaker geek, but I do know a good cab when I hear one. The cab sounds great, nice, full and firm in the bottom end. The mids and highs are stellar. The one feature that really impressed me was the lack of port flutter. I run an Epi Jack bass with flats thru a Clarus IA 300, no unusual sounds from the cone or port, even when pushing an Azola Bug Bass thru this small unit. I also purchased a Berg cover for the cab, it was a bit pricey, but it wears great. The cover is built like a Carhart winter coat; very durable!

Articulation & projection are the sacred commandments of the bass cabinet bible. After owning Bag End, Eden, Trace Elliot, SWR and Epifani, Bergantino stands alone as the master engineer of bass cabinetry. His HT-322 enclosure represents; without a doubt, a sonic masterpiece.

Thanks to Jim and his staff for the size, workmanship, and sound provided in those HT112 cabinets. Being an owner of Eden and Aguilar cabinets I was asked to try a Bergie HT112 from my friend Dave at More Music in Santa Cruz, CA. After months of badgering me to try one, I took one to a gig and never returned it. The money is in the mail and I ordered one more HT112. After reading all the posted comments I can't wait to hear more Bergantino cabinets. I play F basses, Nathan East Yamahas, and passive Fenders. I alternate between a WT800 and GK 1001. They all sound great with the Bergantino. I will be calling Mr.Bergantino in the coming weeks to see what pre-amps and power amps he recommends.
