“ I finally picked up your very limited 'tolex Walter Woods' 112 from Rock City Guitars in Somerville, MA. The red & black tolex looks so badass! Man, my Tyler/Roscoe basses sound so delicious. The horn can't be beat. I've never been a big fan of them but now I might accually use one! I also heard your 210 a while back and am wondering if/when I can sell my Bag End 210. It's good to hear high quality bass w/out all the hype coming from the speaker. F#*k going direct! I want to go through an amp again! Keep up the good work, now I want two 112's! ”

“ I was wondering if you would ever produce a two 12" speaker cabinet with a tweeter or 6" speaker, that can handle 800 watts rms or more and be able to go as low as 45Hz or lower? It would also be nice if the cabinet weight could be around 60lbs. I'm in the market for a new cabinet to purchase and this configuration is one that I would like buy. Your cabinets are the best sounding cabinets I have ever tried ”

“ I've had the HT/EX 112 duo for several months now and I really, really dig them. These cabs make me stop and savor life. I'm not thinking, "What else is out there and could there be something that sounds better than this"? I've been talking to a friend about selling him one of my basses and now that I've played it through the 12s I am having reservations! Rudy's gave me a great deal on the two of them. The silver grille's a real standout! I think apart from the size of the voice coils, the first thing I noticed was the grille and how well manufactured it is. The main amp I've been using with the cabs is a Clarus 1 Series II and it makes those 12s sing! I replaced my Whappo with these and I have no regrets. I would have liked to replace the Whappo with a 322 but for me persoanally, not having an automobile in NYC is an advantage. I highly recommend the ProCo Guardian FatMax 8-gauge speaker cable. I first found them at directproaudio.com but I've seen them at Sweetwater as well. As far as other amps, I've had stellar results with either a Demeter 201 or a Raven Labs MDB-1 into a Stewart 2.1. I find that the only tone tweaking I ever have to do is with the tweeter attenuator. These cabs are perfect for me because, being somewhat of a purist, I can get the most glorious sound by eliminating all unnecessary circuits, such as EQ! If it were up to me my bass would be much like AJs - one pickup and one balanced output. No volume knob, nothin'. Thanks for your tireless pursuit of perfection and your dedication to bass players of all kinds. Now if I can just save up for and transport that 322 ”

“ What else can be said about the mighty HT322, not much but after purchasing one from Low Down Sound in Detroit, MI I felt the need to express myself...WOOOOOOOOOOOW! What a cabinet! This thing just plain rocks. The detail built into this cab is nothing short of perfection. The build quality is exceptional, great handles, I love the 3in casters they make it easy to move and electronics are top notch, I love the fact that the horn attn is "cut only". Now for the Tone.....PERFECT. This is the most "balanced" sounding cab I have ever heard. Every part of the frequency is defined, it has a low end to die for, the mids are strong and punchy and you can cut through even the loudest stage mix like a knife. The high end is as sweet as it gets. The horn and Crossover are the best I have ever heard. The horn does have the "hiss" that you hear out of most HiFi cabs. This cab will let you hear your bass as it was meant to be heard. I have played lots of rigs and cabs from SWR, to GK, etc a! and they are good cabs in their own right but don't hold a candle to the "bergy" HT322. A shout out to Ryan and Bob at Low Down Sound in Detroit, MI for introducing me to the best cab on the planet. To wrap it up...If your reading this trying to get an idea of what cab to buy, look no further, demo it in the store, buy it and take to one rehersal or gig and "hear" yourself for the first time! -JT ”

“ I bought the NV215 about 4 weeks ago. I purchased it from John at Bass Emporium down there in Austin, Texas. I had to have it shipped all the way out here to Honolulu, Hawaii! I play a Fender Stu Hamm Urge-II. My amp is an Ashdown ABM500 Evo-II. This cabinet is well worth the price of admission! I appreciate the help Jim B. gave me via email, and John, down there in the Lone Star State, is a man of his word. Mucho Aloha to all y'all... ”

“ Honeymoon period part two. I have been playing through my Berg mini stack for a year now and still love em - so much in fact I bought another stack (EX112 and HT112) instead of a large stand-alone cab for those occasional gigs where I need a bit more overall stage sound. For those mini stack lovers out there who need a bit "more" at times, you gotta try a combination of three or four Berg 12's. Amazing. ”

“ I've had Carvin 4X10 and 1X18, Trace Elliot 1 X 15s, even Euphonic Audio VL 210 (a close contender). I went to find a powerful cabinet to go with my IAmp 800 head. I was convinced I was going to buy Edens but walked out of the store with a HT322, thanks to another bass player in the store. Heavy tho.. ”

“ I've played my NV610 in various venues around town, and I've used it for practices and one studio session. Too many compliments to mention as far as the tone is concerned...it turns heads every time. This cabinet is so musically balanced, true, and pure from its endless bottom to the sweetest highs. I haven't found anything that sounds better and I've played it against everything the local dealers had to offer. ”

“ I have recently got a HT322 and I love it. If you are debating on getting one, get it, you won't be disappointed. I have owned SVTs, SWR, EA and Bergantinos are the best. They are the best built and best sounding cabinets available. Jim's a great guy who will answer your questions promptly (not like most other places where you wait days for a responce to your email). The customer service is exceptional. Thanks Jim for all your help and support and of course for building these great cabs. ”

“ I recommend Bergantino to anyone who asks. I realized a long time ago that I play better when I like my stage sound, so I have tried everything: Yamaha, Sunn, Ampeg, Eden... I stopped shopping when I heard an HT310 in 2003 at a friends' house. I bought that one, then an HT210 for smaller gigs (fits in the trunk of my '59 Impala!). Well, I *almost* stopped shopping. Now, I want another one for home, for the rehearsal room, for a drummer's monitor...Thanks, Jim!!! ”

“ HOLY MOLY!!! I was blown away when I tested out the Bergantino HT112 & EX112 bass cabinets @ Guitar X. After I left the store I said to myself " I got's to sell my SWR cabinets". I was so impressed with the clarity and amazed with the power handling of these cabinets(big sound in a little package). Playing in the clubs with these cabinets has turned heads. I have never received so many compliments from musicians and non-musicians regarding the sound of these cabinets on stage. Everyone and even the band members were amazed as to how clear, clean, and punchy my sound was. I use the Aguliar SC 500 watt head to power these babies and my Fender Jazz and Lakland Basses sound great with this combination. The Bergantino 12's has ended my pilgrimage for that ultimate bass cabinet. Jim, a Rocky Mountain High Salute to you and your staff for great sounding bass cabinets. Thanks Again. ”

“ After a fairly exhaustive comparison, the day I heard the HT210, my search was over. I have been listening to all variety of cabinets, and my basic requirements in a 2x10 were: natural sound, ability to punch hard (when necessary) and not weigh a million pounds. I auditioned the "usual suspects" (ampeg, SWR, Hartke, Aguliar, Trace Elliot, GK, Fender and even the venerable Eden 210xlt). The "Berg" soundly thrashed them all (in my opinion). No disrespect to any of the above brands, but for accurate, articulate and faithful reproduction of what your bass sounds like, the Berg was simply the best. When mated with my Ashdown rig, Tobias or Alembic basses, it really sings. One thing.....beware of crappy front ends with this cabinet. If your bass or preamp sounds less than good, the Berg will reveal all. Keep up the great stuff guys. ”

“ Hi Jim & staff, I'm working with the 210 and 115 for nearly three years now and it's still f@#$% unbelievable !!! Still great tone and clarity. My next purchase (duh!!) will definitely be another Berg. 'Till then I'll be stompin' hard with the "old stuff". Keep the soul alive! Greetz from the Netherlands ”

“ Hey Jim, Josh over here in CT. Just sayin thanks for takin the time to fill me in! I've been using the HT210 and HT115 for months now and always gotten compliments on my sound. I loved it! Well, not until recently have I heard the true sound of these cabs. Purchasing some true power to support them makes all the difference! It seems they not only demand more power but also hold their clarity! No tone coloring, no harsh highs, no sacrifice in bottom, and great response on and off the stage. I'm able to support both the small gigs, and the larger ones; jazz and R&B...to blues and metal. Obviously as the days go by you're developing more and more concepts, keep 'em comin. We love what you've got goin! ”

“ I recently purchased an NV425 and must say that this is the best cab I have ever used period. I have owned top of the line Eden, SWR, Mesa, and Ampeg cabs. But none come close to the highend sound I get with the NV425. I use a Mesa M-Pulse 600 or Aguilar DB 750 with this cab. Both sound great. The Aguilar DB 750 appears to be a perfect match for the NV425. In addition, Jim has got to be the nicest guy and actually cares about the customer. He was very helpful when I called him before buying the cab. He even did a follow-up phone call with the dealer I purchased the NV 425 from to ensure that I liked the cab. Thanks Jim for building a great cab and your fantastic customer support. I plan to purchase an HT322 in the next couple months. ”

“ I just bought the HT322 from Bass Central[grasshopper]and I hooked it up to a GK1001rb2 and I thought I was on stage at Madison Sq. Garden. The sound was so fat, thick and round I had to call some friends to come over and hear this thing. I first hooked up my 94 Ken Smith btg 5 string and then my custom NYBW 5 and WOW!!!! It was just unreal. Both basses sounded like I was hooked-up to a studio sound board. I will never buy another speaker cab as long as I play bass. ”

“ I recently posted a comment on how great the NV425 is. Matter of fact I liked it so much I went back to Basses Electric & Accoustic in Sacramento (where I purchased the NV422 from Juan)and bought an HT322. I used this cab at my last two gigs and must say this cab is unbelieveable. I used it with an Aguilar DB750 and Mesa M-Pulse 600 (the newer version with speakon outputs). Well, Jim has done it again. Another great sounding cab. It is deep, clean, and full sounding with a massive soundstage and had no problem cutting through the two lead guitarists and keyboards in my band ( a common problem I have experienced with Mesa, Eden, and SWR cabs). Both the NV425 and HT322 sound so good it is hard to say which one I would recommend over the other. Both are the best cabs I have owned and/or used live. I feel lucky to have both Bergantino cabs and feel these are the last bass cabs I will ever need. Thanks again Jim for some of the best highend bass cabs that actually do what they are supposed to do and sound fantastic! ”

“ Bergantino products are simply the best available to today's demanding players. I have been on a long journey to find the most satisfying bass tone, and I have to say that my quest is finally over. I love my NV425 in a way that most psychologists would find disturbing, and have just now made arrangements to pick up an HT322. No mystical technologies here, just great engineering and a committment to quality. Jim, keep up the great work! ”

“ I have had my HT112 for a while now. It's a fantastic cab. On my last gig, I had a cord short and ground out on me. You have never heard a squeal like that through both the PA and my amp and cab. I thought for sure that the tweeter would be fried. When I hooked up my gear at home the next day - full range. The cab sounds as good as ever and apparently is tough as nails. The only thing better than my HT112 would be an EX112 to stack it on. ”

Thanks for a great cab, Jim!

“ Hello, Jim. I noticed a bunch of "stroke the ego" great comments, and I do agree. I love my new 322. You have a great partner....Juan in Sacramento, he was very helpful in creating my new rig. I play a '79 Tobias fretless and a Warrior 5-string through a Mesa m-pulse 600 and a single HT-322 cab. What a great set-up !! Keep up the good work !! ”

“ Dear Jim: I purchased an HT 322 about 2 years ago and to this date it's still going strong as the day I received it. This cab can kick ass against anything out there. There is no better cab made, period. I got an Eden "Metro" a Trace Eliott and a Carvin PB100-10 and these can't hold a candle to your HT322. I own a series of basses. I have the following basses, Gibson "Thunderbird" Ibanez K5, Hofner 63 vintage, Pedulla "Thunderbass" Fodera Victor Bailey model and a Steinberger Synnapse. They all sound great through a Bergie HT322. I have a blues group, my 2 guitar players have tried their guitars on my Bergie and it sounds fantastic. We played a PRS Custom 22 on it and a Fender Jimi Hendrix strat on it and the sound was crystal clear. This cab is not for basses only but for guitars too. Just thought I'd let you know. I power my Ht322 with a EBS 350 amp head and never encountered a bit of trouble in the 2 years I had it. I use this amp everday. If you want the best and want to sound like the best than go with a Bergantino cab. I say no more. Thanks Jim! ”

“ I've had my two HT322s for well over a year now and all I can say is they are without a doubt, the most amazing cabs I have ever heard. I currently own an AccuGroove Whappo Jr. and a Trace Elliot BFC 4X10 + 1X15. I have spent a lot of time and money in my quest for great tone and I have listened to a lot of cabs from the likes of Epifani, Eden, Aguilar, Ampeg and Ashdown, etc. It seems to me that there is always a trade off with other cabs, good mids but lack bottom, good bottom and mids but lack top end. Not so with the Bergies, from the deep lows to the absolute sweetest highs the HT322 is the fullest sounding cabinet I have ever heard. I have used a Demeter HBP-1 preamp with a Crest CA 9 power amp as well as a Trace Elliot AH1000-12 and both sound fantastic run through the Bergies. Another stand out quality of the Bergies is in their ability to work for any style of music I play. Whether I’m slapping funk lines on one of my MTD 535s or playing heavy rock in drop tuni! ng on my Modulus Q5 the 322s deliver. Mr. Bergantino’s exceptional customer service is just the icing on the cake. ”

“ I play gospel music most of the time. My 322 is the only cabinet that can stand up to the thick tone produced by a b-3 with a Lesley. Thanks Jim for producing a far superior product. I have owned cabinets from all of the major manufacturers, none of them compare. ”
