I recently bought a Bergantino HT112 & EX112 from BASS DIRECT in the UK.
They are just as Mark (Bass Direct proprietor) described them - like powerful Hi-Fi speakers - clean, natural tone, and very loud for their size. The construction is second-to-none and will stand years of use (the covers are top-notch too). They even smell nice!
They are certainly the best sounding cabs I have yet played through. My SWR sounded good, but these are in a different class. All my basses sound wonderful through them, particularly the active ones. The characteristics and subtleties of each instrument are all there. My Roscoe sings, and my old EMG'd P bass doesn't know what's hit it either.

I have found that my new 610 cab from you and the SVT 6 pro is working fine as I only play Mexican type Jazz basses, 4 string I like the warmth it has in most venues ..I will play outside tonight and maybe a add a single 15 long with the 6 10 but the 6 10 alone will also be fine..so, but love the tone and the punch I get I also have a 5 string Pavel, great bass don't use it much in BLues and classic rock but I might start using it again. Thanks for the killer cab. I really wanted the cloth trim but the cover for it helps it not get torn up when transporting . Peace out!

Hello Jim! I own a number of your smaller cabs and have always enjoyed the pure, deep, accurate tone they provide. However, I've never really considered your larger offerings due to my requirement and preference for a cab to be at or under 60 pounds (so that I can easily manage steps, high stages, etc. on my own). When I saw the AE announcement, I immediately put in an order for the 410. The AE410 is FANTASTIC... right around 60 pounds, and with the 'thinner than normal' 16" depth, it is just a dream to schlep around. The tone is punchy and clear, but with plenty of low end and sparkle if you want it, and the 4ohm impedance and high SPL make it very loud and forcefull sounding with my small, moderately powered SS heads. The spray on covering is a step above anything else out there... like a high end touring PA cab... impressive! This is a WONDERFUL cab, and I can imagine the 210 is a killer also. Very, very impressive entry in the 'loud and light' category. Thanks!

After owning and playing dozens of rigs, I can say that I've finally found the perfect cabinets. They are lightweight, reliable, and sound so rich and full. There is no tone that I can conjure up that my EX112s cannot produce. Thank you, Bergantino, for putting your patience and expertise to the test in creating the finest cabinets available anywhere - at any price.

Hi Jim,
I should start by saying that I, like many other bass players, am a tone junkie. I have played Ampeg head/cabs for years now, my sound and tone was always good but it just wasnt the sound I had in my head. I finally got the basses/head down to Fender usa jazz and a early 1970's Ampeg SVT. I was playing through Ampegs svt610 and the sound was great..but it just wasnt "it". A friend recommended I give the NV610 a shot and promised I would turn cartwheels when I heard the difference. So I toted my Fender 75 Jazz RI and my 71 SVT down to Rockin Robin Guitars here in Houston. They were busy as they always are(its a great shop w/a TON of vintage gear..check them out)and I ask if I could play the Berg610 through my head. They said "sure, no problem". I hooked my amp up and was prepaired to, well honestly, be disappointed. I have heard so many people say "oh..you need this cab..or this cab" and I was prepared for the worst. I let the tubes heat for a minute and slowly turned up the volume to about 3 o'clock. The tone and shape were nothing less than amazing. I made a few adjustments to the head's mid's and bass and played for about 2 min just amazed. I thought "well it sounds good at 3 o'clock lets give her some gas and see what she has" I turned up to 12 o'clock and the distortion that came out was god like! I knew instantly I had found the tone! I am a very hard slap/pop guy and I always...always make speakers(10's) "pop" when I slap. Well not this cab. I even hit the strings as hard as I could directly over the neck P/U and it was just tone...nothing but tone. I packed up my stuff, whipped out the card and the NV610 was mine. The final test came at rehearsal last night when I plugged in my 2nd fender jazz that is tuned to C# G# C# F#, The open 4 string always sounded "flabby" and "loose" with every cabnet I had played through. I hit that low C# and the BergNV610 just thundered out the note with PERFECT tone and clairty! This cabinet took everything I threw at it and never had any tone less than god like. Thank you Jim ! I have just purchased an IP112. I am playing double bass exclusively and the combination of a Realist pickup + Fishman pro EQ platinum bass preamp + the IP 112 is truly unsurpassed. So all that has been written about the IP112 certainly works for my double bass as well!

I have used an ampeg svt for twenty two years,always the mighty 810 cabinet. I swore there were nothing better until I met the BERGANTINO HT 310 ,this cabinet is by far the best I have ever used. It is so good I loaded the svt in my jeep and brought home the very best bass cabinet ever. BERGANTINO, thank you for bringing me and my music back to life.

I have just gotten the AE112 and the sound of my "B" string never sounded better. Loud and Full. Punchie mids and wonderful highs.
Porting out the back sounds great, which was a concern.
I love this Bergie. Thanks Jim, you did it again.

Just picked up your AE410 over the weekend and I have not stop smiling yet! Weight to Tone factor has been a huge issue for me. My back told me to stop lugging your HT322 to my gigs and boy did my tone take a big hit. I landed as most of us do on the Epifani thing which has been a love - hate relationship, but my back thanked me even though my ears where left wanting that magical Bergy sound. As soon as I heard your were offering the new AE line I was in route to my local dealer. We took my current Epifani UL310 and ran it up aginst your ae410 while my back was turned away from the cabinets I began to play. We started with my current rig. Once the cable was moved from the UL310 to your AE410 I said STOP!!!! I dropped my Epifani UL310 Series II in a heart beat once I got a taste of what your cabinet did for my continual search for the "Sound of Life". for just a few pounds more I not only got a 4x10 cab which gave me more volume and size to the notes, I got that magical Bergy tone back. Now my tone is warm, fat, punches like nobodies business, articulate, huge bottom end, sizzles at the top...I can go on and on. I am so excited with your new line and very happy to be a customer again. Cudos to "Bass Specialities" and a special thanks to the owner Glen - his knowledge and eagerness to help his customers find the quest for tone whether it be a fantastic Bass guitar or a dynamite bass rig is something you should experience. Bass Specialties only carries the "best of the best" and Glen also is one heck of a nice guy!

Hi Jim.
As you probably remember you and I have talked extensively regarding the differences between your IP310 and the AE410. I decided to go to your dealer in Ben Salem, PA, Bass Specialties, to compare the 2 cabs. Jim as you probably already know you have an awesome dealer in Glenn Marrazzos. I was in Glenn's shop literally for hours on end doing my comparisons between the 2 previously mentioned cabs with various heads and preamps totally unencumbered by Glenn. Both cabinets sounded incredible! I finally chose the AE410 simply for reasons of portability. Well I've used my AE410 on about half a dozen gigs now and I've just got to tell you it has exceeded my expectations. In no way shape or form does this cabinet sound like the other neodymium speakers most of us are accustomed to. The cabinet is fat, tight and punchy. It also has a very quick attack with lots of bottom and no honky mids like other neos. Bottom line is that it sounds very much like a ceramic magnet and not a neo. Secondly the spray on finish of the cab is top shelf. It is so much nicer than that carpet finish most manufactures use. And finally because of the depth of the AE410 it fits in the back seat of my small car. You can't ask for much more than that. Jim thanks so much for making such a great cab and for helping me achieve my sound.

I recently purchased the HT112ER from Rudy's.
Absolutely the BEST sounding speaker I have ever played through.
I play only upright,and this speaker sounded just like my bass.
At one point when I was trying the speakers,I actually had to ask if it was on!
So pure!
You are INCREDIBLE!

Hello Mr Bergantino. My name is Alex Lynch and I am the proud owner of one of your HT-322's. I bought it a few years ago from Cory Buckingham of the now closed Rock City Guitars. It has been my only cabinet for these last few years and I have to say it is truly outstanding. Not only is it rock soild but the crispness of sound even at high volumes is fantastic. Every gig I do with it I always get a compliment from the sound person and the guys in my band love it.

I bought the new HT/EX112ER stack and am totally blown away with these cabs. At first I wasn’t sure if I cared for them as they didn’t sound as good as my old HT/EX112 stack with my WW Ultra, but the more I listened to these cabs and tried different heads with them something kept telling me that they seemed to be voiced perfectly for a SWR SM400. So I found a SM400 and when I heard this combination my jaw hit the floor and it hasn’t come back up yet. The SM400 brings more out of these cabs than any other head I tried and it takes very little EQ’ing to get it there. Punchy, thick, quick, and a lot of detail. In my 30+ years of playing and going through A LOT of gear, I can honestly say this rig is THE BEST!!

I have been using my HT-110 speakers for about almost a year now. I gig with them at least two times per week and they are without a doubt the best speakers I have ever owned. I have been playing for over thirty years and I have always felt there was something lacking in whatever setup I happened to be playing through. Until now. About a year ago I purchased a used HT210. It is a great sounding cabinet but it was hard to get it up and down my stairs. I called Jim Bergantino to ask him about the HT-112 cabinets and he told me that he was also producing a 1X10 cabinet with the same speaker and horn as the HT-210. My HT-110 cabinets have excelled in every musical situation where I have used them and they are really easy to move around. Thank You Jim for these wonderful speakers.

Wanted to drop a note to say that I've never been happier with my 'sound.' I've been playing for almost 30 years, and have finally found 'it.'
I purchased an AE410 a few month's ago, and it's absolutely amazing.
Sound, build, weight - everything.
The only downside, is that I can't bring my small combo amp to practice anymore. The AE410 sounds so good to me, I can't even practice without it.

Just a note to say how pleased I am with my Bergantino AE410. I've been using it on gigs since the start of the summer and have to say that it has sounded fantastic in every venue I've played in. I have so much control over my sound now. The cabinet reproduces the tone of my basses perfectly and even slight adjustments with the amp are taken care of by the cabinet. It's so portable too... I'm very happy with my purchase and am looking forward to using it on tour for the rest of this year.
I must also comment on the HT112 which I picked up recently. An unbelievable little cabinet. I used it at a gig with a loud drummer, keyboards and a vocalist through a small PA system... the HT112 was loud, warm and punchy and had no problem filling the stage and dancefloor. It has a very woody character which I love and can't wait to gig it more.

I picked up my AE410 a few weeks ago at Bass Club Chicago and I've been very satisfied after a couple gigs.
The build and looks are excellent and the sound and performance is outstanding. I love the profile of this cab as it is not too deep and makes loading a snap not to mention the extra room on tight stages. Jim's designs are always developed not just produced. The customer service is top notch. Jim also has a great sense of humor to-boot. I'm also delighted that somebody here near Chi-town finally decided to showcase some Bergs …. See bitchin' does work.

I am just blown away by my AE410. I’ve been gigging with it every Friday/Saturday for a few months now and it sounds great everywhere. It is the perfect balance of size, weight and performance. You nailed it! I’ve owned an HT112/EX112 stack, an IP112/EX112 stack and also your venerable HT322. It’s safe to say I am a fan of your exceptional engineering. But this AE410 cabinet is just the best of all of those in one box. It’s easy to move, looks great, and sounds stellar for all styles of music. I am equally impressed at how great it sounds when played quietly. But when the time comes to goose it, it just shines and is a veritable tone factory!
