I just purchased the new NV412 from Bass Emporium in Austin TX today. I almost purchased the NV610 sitting right beside it.
I took me almost 3 hours to decide, that’s how incredible they both are. One cab is as good as the other; it was a very hard choice.
The NV412 sounds like no other ever made!
I also auditioned the AE410 & HS410 cabs. All the cabs sound incredible; in fact they are the best!
I went there with the intention of purchasing one of the NV Series cabs this time around because I wanted the classic sound.
This is it at its very finest, either cabinet!
I used a 70’s “Blue Line” SVT head and the combination just killed!! I use all Ashdown & SVT heads. The Aguilar DB750 is next.
I’ve been playing bass for over 30 years & finally there is a supreme family of bass cabinets for us all.
Jim, Thank you for making the finest bass cabinets on the planet period!

I've had the privledge & cash to buy and play numerous rigs in my life. I FINALLY found THE BEST MADE PERIOD!!! (re: IP112ER)
This is what my music sounds like in my head- now its replicated through the cabinets for everyone else to hear what I wanted them to hear. I don't know how you do it in such a small package or for this price but GodBless you Jim & Co for giving the bassist in the world the REAL DEAL....I'll never pay anything else.
Any of you guys who have not heard or tried Jim's cabinets- run don't walk to the nearest dealer. Your ears will never be the same.

Hi Jim,
Like many others, I have owned every major brand of bass amp looking for the right combination of tone, size, and power. After countless hours of reading and research I was convinced your IP series was what I had been looking for all these years.
When I received my IP112ER I was extremely impressed with its overall packaging and quality. I eagerly plugged in my new preamp - one repeatedly described as a great companion for the IP - and was underwhelmed. Disappointed but undaunted, I continued my preamp search to find one that produced the tone I wanted. On my third try - magic! Once I was able to input my desired tone into the IP112ER what was fed back to me (at immense volume) was that same tone across every fret/string/note on the neck, perfectly clear and at an even and consistent level.
My advice to those intrigued by the IP design philosophy - just do it. Remember that the IP Series will exactly reproduce whatever you put into it, so be prepared to invest a little time finding "your"
tone generator if you haven't done so already.
Jim, thank you for this fantastic feat of acoustic engineering.
Warm regards,John Bates-Portland, ME

Hi again,
Another comment from me, well I've got ANOTHER Bergantino cab!!! And am about to get another!!!!! OMG!! Owned a NV610 for a few yrs now & LOVE IT -superb cab!!!!
About 8 months ago I bought a NV215- SUPERB also. This suits my soul/funk band perfectly as the 6" HF driver adds JUST a little top end- NOT sizzle like a tweeter- but smooth clear tops. Now- like a few Aussie & New Zealanders I know of- we've got an AMAZING choice-albeit a hard one- which cab to use- the NV610 or 215???? I find the 610 all punch & perfect for rock, but will suit ANY type of music!! The NV215 I find is a deeper yet higher cab that you feel more than the 610-not as punchy- yet an awesome cab that sounds great for funk/soul/blues etc.. I can also run my V4BH 100w tube head a li'l harder into this as it's a frction quieter a cab than the NV610- so this suits at some venues where VOL is not needed too much & I can push the V4BH into OD nicely.
Am also about to buy a AE112 for my small gigs with my Jazz band. Wil report on this soon.
Keep up the great work JIM- great products & service.

I just recently joined a blues band, I have been playing for only 2 ½ years but am quickly learning about weight and quality of sound. I did my homework and bought my AE210 from Bass Central. I use a Mark Bass 12” combo right now, when I add my 210 it is an amazing combo and light weight.
I own an Ampeg SVT 3 pro and Ampeg 1x15 cab…its sound dead compared to the Bergantino. My plan is to add a 12” Berg cab and buy a separate amp such as Aquilar to give me greater flexability and superior sound. And all in a manageable size. MY last gig was outdoors, I mic’d the AE210 into the PA and it gave all it needed to. Indoors, there is no need to blast the audience, 2 Bergantino cabs and a 500-600 Watt Amp should be all I ever need. LOVE the sound, love the quality, found price reasonable.

I recently purchased the IP112ER with the extension 12 and absolutely love it. I can finally carry everything in to the gig in one trip, not to mention the sound is unsurpassed.
I plan on buying one more set of the IP with extension then depending on the gig I can take one stack or both stacks. I think Jim has done an amazing job with these cabinets. I have played metal, rock, funk, jazz thru these speakers and no matter the style these still deliver.

Hi Jim,
I'm a professional player from Montreal, Canada, just wanted to let know everybody how perfect your Bergantino 112's are! I'm still using a lot my 2 EX112, and it just sounded like my bass in studio!! And yes, I finally found an old Demeter VTBP 201 with a Crest Audio CA6! That was your advice, and your advice just made me sound bigger, fatter and cleaner! My rig was perfect, now it's a dream rig! Thank you for your time, your advice and your sound!

Hello Jim! I've had my pair of HS210s for about a year now. I think you should know that they are the greatest cabs I have ever used - and I've used plenty of cabs in all sorts of situations! Every time I plug them in, they make me smile. It's amazing what one cab is capable of... hook them both up. and it's heavenly. Thanks for building them.
